PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The PST strip cutter is ideal for production cutting of glass into uniform strips as thin as 1-1/2“ wide.



FEATURES

The glass sheeting is power conveyed under the precision cutting bridge for scoring.

The PST glass strip cutter is equipped with a precision aluminum bridge  which cutting heads are mounted thus provides for rapid and accurate head positioning in either imperial or metric dimensions. The precision cutting heads include a special oil feed system to provide smooth even cutting for easy breakout.

MECHANICAL FEATURES

The strip cutter frame and base are all welded steel construction.

SPECIFICATIONS

The variable speed drive system allows cutting speeds up to 120 feet per minute. The unique conveyor system powers glass sheeting under cutting heads for scoring.

the PST strip cutter is capable of cutting glass sheeting from single strength to 1/4” thickness.

The conveyor rollers are urethane covered and line shaft driven by a variable speed drive.  The precision cutting heads are designed and built for rapid and easy repositioning on the bridge.
